Have you heard about the gift that keeps on giving?

Last weekend was a very special one for me, at Mintaka Reiki in Sandbach. On Saturday, I had the privilege of introducing four new students to Reiki, as they undertook their Reiki I training.
Reiki I is the first Reiki level and is the ideal introduction to this ancient Japanese healing practice. As a Reiki Master with over 16 years of experience, in this one-day course I not only teach my students how to give themselves a self-treatment, but how to treat family and friends, too.
It’s always such a delight to witness those first experiences with Reiki.
But then on Sunday, I had the added joy of teaching two of my students the third and final elements to the system of Reiki, as they too became Reiki Master Teachers.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Reiki is an ancient healing technique which promotes both physical and mental wellbeing. It’s simple to learn, safe, and completely natural.
As so many of my former students can testify, once you’ve been introduced to Reiki, and what it can do, you can’t really get enough of it!
If you've had a Reiki Treatment with me, or any other Reiki practitioner, then I hope you'd agree it was also a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
So, imagine what it would be like to feel that sense of calm and balance every day, whenever you needed it, not just after a treatment? That’s what taking Reiki Training does for you.
By teaching you the techniques, history, and practices of Reiki, it's my aim to help people experience the benefits of Reiki for the rest of their life, because everything you learn during your Reiki day stays with you forever.
And as a Mintaka Reiki student, you’ll also have access to a monthly Reiki Share in The Cabin, where you can meet fellow Reiki people, practice, and receive Reiki for yourself – completely FREE.
Is Reiki calling you to join me at my next training weekend?
My next Reiki I Training Course is on Saturday February 28 2026 and Reiki II is on Sunday March 1st 2026.
Taking Reiki II Training deepens your knowledge of Reiki and attunes you to ancient symbols and techniques, which not only enriches your own self-treatment, but shows you how to help others, too. There should be a minimum gap of three months between take Reiki I and Reiki II. At this level, you are qualified to become a Reiki Practitioner.
Full details about all my Reiki Training are available on my website: https://www.mintaka-reiki.com/about-2
And Reiki Training makes the perfect Christmas present too – it really is the gift that keeps on giving, for the rest of your life!
Until next week.
Much love,
Denise
