Are you worried and anxious right now?

Being a Reiki person, I like to think I do not worry. Whatever happens, whatever challenges life throws at me, I really do my best not to worry about ‘what ifs’ and to trust that all will be well. Because it always is. And I know that worrying is such a waste of time!
That said, I’ve been tested recently.
Someone I love very much is facing various challenges at the moment, and I’ve found that’s deeply affected me. I don’t know if I’m ‘worrying’ exactly, but I’m definitely disturbed by the situation.
I’ve written before about how to deal with worry, and you can read that Blog here:
For me, I’ve been doing a lot of self-practice, giving myself Reiki, and that always lifts my spirits. And I suppose a really positive side-effect of my own lowered mood is that it’s helping me empathise even more with what so many of my clients are going through.

Whether it’s feeling overwhelmed with life, struggling with exhaustion, or simply being unsure where to turn to next, the effects of worry and stress can manifest in so many different ways, and no two people experience it in exactly the same way.
But just as I have found this week, there is always one constant resource out there that can help you with your worry and stress: Reiki.
For anyone who doesn’t know, Reiki is an ancient Japanese energy healing practice, which is centred on relaxation and stress relief. It’s based on the belief that an unseen life force energy flows through us all, affecting both our physical and emotional health.
During a Reiki session, a Reiki practitioner like me uses hands-on techniques and focussed intention to realign energy to a client, thereby promoting healing and balance.
It sounds incredible. And it is!
But carving out just 45 minutes for a Reiki session really can be transformative, providing you with a sacred space to focus solely on yourself for a change – and to stop the constant noise in your head.
Ultimately, a Reiki Treatment helps you disconnect from the external world and instead allows you to reconnect with your inner self, which in turn allows for deep relaxation, rejuvenation – and a reduction in stress and worry.
So, if you’re feeling trapped, repeating the same cycles, or maybe struggling to find clarity or direction in life, then I’d urge you to consider Reiki as a way through the dark times.
Life shouldn’t be that difficult. So instead of pressing on, press pause. Do something that’s just for you.
Reiki allows your energy to flow freely again, so as your stress and worry starts to melt away, clarity returns, and a feeling of spaciousness and lightness grows.
A shift has started.
And the thing about Reiki is, it continues to benefit you long after your Reiki Treatment has ended. The feelings can last days, weeks – or sometimes forever.
So, if you are feeling stressed or worried or anxious right now, why not prioritise yourself for a change, lighten the load, and be kind to yourself? Allow Reiki to be your friend.

Much love,
