I’ve been teaching the healing art of Reiki to other people – and boy did it feel good!

Over the last week at Mintaka Reiki in Sandbach, I’ve had the privilege of introducing a new bunch of people to the remarkable healing abilities of Reiki.

I’ve known for over 15 years about the truly awesome power of Reiki: it’s not only a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating process, but it promotes physical and emotional healing, too.

That’s why I’ve been giving Reiki freely to friends, family – and anyone else who asked me – throughout all that time. But it was only 6 months ago that I decided to start my own Reiki practice in The Cabin, which is nestled next to the Trent & Mersey canal in Wheelock. I started the practice because the time felt right – but I also felt a need to start and spread the gift of Reiki further.

I’ll be honest, when I started Mintaka Reiki in Sandbach, I didn’t for one moment think I’d begin teaching Reiki, too. But Reiki had other ideas.

Why not learn Reiki with me at Mintaka?

Within a few weeks of treating clients, people started to ask me if they could learn this ancient healing technique for themselves – and I knew that was Reiki nudging me to get my act together. So, I started writing my manuals and began planning how I wanted to teach.

I’ve now held two Reiki I training days, and it felt so good to know that I’m helping to spread knowledge around our community about the profound healing abilities of Reiki.

Reiki’s been around for thousands of years, but it was only just over 100 years ago that the techniques and practices of this natural healing system were rediscovered in Japan. From Japan, the practice spread to America – then across the world, which is why anyone can now come to my Reiki practice in Wheelock and learn how to do Reiki for themselves.

Our ancestors often used and relied on their own abilities and instincts to heal, but these basic skills have been forgotten and are rarely used today.

Now I’m the first to trumpet the wonderful work and remarkable services offered by our NHS and orthodox medicine – where would we be without it?! But I also think there’s a need for humanity to become re-balanced. Instead of giving up responsibility for your life and health – and handing everything over to men and women in white coats – I truly believe we should also all play a part in our own good health, which is why it’s vitally important to regain equilibrium between ancient and modern technology.

Reiki can be the catalyst to do that.

By practising the discipline of Reiki, you can regain your natural abilities to heal yourself and others, together with the knowledge you require to lead a happier, more fulfilling life.

Whether it’s a physical health condition that you’re living with, mental health issues, fertility problems, stress, anxiety – or anything else that’s affecting the quality of your life – then Reiki can be the light at the end of the tunnel, while working alongside orthodox medicine and practices.

The skills and techniques associated with Reiki are simple and easy to learn. This wonderful energy is free. There are no patents or copyrights attached. All you need is the desire and the discipline to attune yourself to the energy, and its life changing properties.

If you feel this is something you’d like to learn for yourself, you can read more about it on my website, where my teaching dates for the start of next year are also listed.

But if you’re still unsure, then why not come to The Cabin for a full Reiki Treatment first – experiencing for yourself the remarkable abilities of this natural, gentle, holistic healing technique.

Until next week.

Much love,

Denise
